Speaker requirements
A/V Requirements
1. Ms. Anderson uses A LAVALIERE MICROPHONE. Wireless is preferable. Please make sure that the AV department has a back-up microphone available at all times.
2. On stage, where she is placing her materials, please have a bottle of purified water and a glass for Ms. Anderson. No ice please.
3. Ms. Anderson does not use any computer equipment and prefers not to have anything between the speaker and the audience, such as a podium. This allows an appropriate line of sight which is important because Ms. Anderson is “vertically challenged” (or short).
4. Appropriate lighting so the speaker can see the audience (usually this means turning on all the lights in the room). Ms. Anderson finds darkened rooms conducive for sleeping and resting, but not for participating in learning and laughing!
